I must have been about 12 or so when my parents bought me a computer. It was not the blue iMac I wanted, but it opened up a whole new world for me. I met people from across the globe on ICQ and decorated my LiveJournal far more than I wrote on it. I loved doing that so much that I signed up for some web designing classes. That is when I started learning that there is more to creating web pages than making things look pretty.
I'm a resourceful generalist who excels at simplifying complexity, collaboration, stakeholder management, workshop design, and facilitation. I have experience in the startup chaos as well as the well-defined structures of large enterprises. Working with interdisciplinary teams, engaging users, and envisioning the future energizes me. I'm comfortable wearing different hats and easily switch between strategic and hands-on work.
When I'm not working, I'm either playing a video game, practicing nose work with my dog Rocky, or lifting some weights at my home gym. My favorite color is unquestionably yellow. I love yellow so much that my desktop is often cluttered with screenshots or clippings of yellows I find around.
I’m not currently available for work, but I’m always up for a chat. Reach out and I promise I’ll respond — I’m always down to talking about design!
